Special Educator for the Child and Education Sector

In this role, you will be part of the Child and Education Sector. Our focus is on the development of children and youth. We work with education from preschool to high school and strive for a holistic pedagogical approach from ages 1 to 20. You see digital tools as a natural part of your daily work. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

As a special educator, you will become an important part of our resource team. You will work closely with teachers in work teams and be an important support to school management in working with students in need of extra adjustments and special support:

• You make observations and assessments for situations that may become problematic in school for students in difficulties and guide teachers in their work.
• You develop work with extra adjustments and special support based on pedagogical, social, and physical learning environments.
• You ensure work and documentation regarding special support.
• You will be part of the Student Health Team and Safety Team, providing guidance and training for teachers and staff and actively participating in the school's promotional and preventive work.
• Guiding and collaborating with educators to develop inclusive learning environments.

We also see that you are a good relationship builder with the ability to create safety and trust among students, colleagues, and guardians. You have an inclusive and solution-focused approach. You have experience in guiding and supporting educational staff. You are curious, creative, and see opportunities to develop the school's work.

In addition to the above, we are confident that you can handle digital tools appropriately and that you are curious about how this can benefit students' knowledge development.

QUALIFICATIONS

Teacher certification and special education degree.

We are looking for someone with a strong commitment to students' development and learning.

To start working in preschool, school, after-school care, and other educational activities, you must show an extract from the criminal record. The extract is valid for one year and can be ordered from the National Police Board www.polisen.se (http://www.polisen.se).
